Day 01 (Arrival-San Jose) :
Arrival. A representative from Costa Rican Trails will meet you at the airport and provide transfer to Hotel Xandari for your first night in Costa Rica. Overnight at Hotel Xandari, prima plus room.

Day 02 (San Jose - Villa Blanca) :
After breakfast, our representative will take you to Villa Blanca Hotel: surrounded by the most spectacular cloud forest in Costa Rica and conveniently located just one hour away from San Jose Intl. Airport. Villablanca experience starts with the unique personality of your accommodations. Our charming 'Casitas' are unparalleled in Costa Rica. These spacious bungalows are built and decorated in the best folk tradition, all of them featuring a fireplace for the cool nights that characterize Villablanca. Late afternoon enjoy a 50 minutes serenity massage, our signature treatment combining Swedish massage techniques, firm pressure and long relaxing stokes for optimum relaxation. Day 03 (Villa Blanca-Arenal) :
Private transfer to Arenal area. One of the most active volcanoes of the world, cloud forests, a lake world-famous for windsurfing and an incredibly diverse population of wildlife is what you will find in this area. The flawless silhouette of Arenal Volcano, its loud rumblings and frequent explosions of lava and ash are a sight not to be missed by any visitor to Costa Rica. But by no means these are not the only attractions of this area. Bass fishing, windsurfing, hot springs, waterfalls, hiking and Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge make this an ideal stop for many travelers. Day 04 (Arenal) :
Free day to relax, or enjoy one of the many activities of the area!

Day 05 - 08 Punta Islita :
Private transfer back to San Jose airport, and flight to Punta Islita, your romantic accommodations for the next four nights. Breathtakingly beautiful, Punta Islita boasts incredible ocean views, tennis court, a spectacular pool and cozy accommodations perfect for honeymooners. A welcome cocktail, A "infatuation" package at Casa Spa for two and one torch-lit private al fresco dinner and serenade have been reserved for you.

Day 09 San Jose :
After breakfast fly back to San Jose and transfer to Finca Rosa Blanca Hotel.

Day 10 (Departure) :

What to Bring (General Info)

Clothing: Costa Rica is a very informal and casual country. Formal attire is only used in the city of San Jose and on very special occasions (Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries)
We recommend to bring a sweater for the highland areas, and light loose fitting shirts, pants or jeans, and shorts for the lowland areas.
For the beach areas please don't forget to bring a hat or cap, sunscreen, and sun glasses.
For the rainforest and the National Parks we recommend hiking boots, a small backpack, water bottle, pocket knife, flashlight, insect repellent, rainwear, and a pair of binoculars to observe animals
