Costa Rica Money – the Old & the New
The Costa Rican Central Bank has announced its new lineup of national bills. The 6 new bills, including redesigns for the existing ¢1,000, ¢2,000, ¢5,000 and ¢10,000 and two new denominations of ¢20,000 and ¢50,000. The change will take place slowly over the next year.
