NOTE: All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars. The down-payment guarantees our services on your behalf.

CURRENCY/PRICE GUARANTEE: All prices are quoted in US Dollars. Prior to receipt of final payment prices are subject to change if major currency fluctuations or updated rates from our vendors. We will alert you to any rate changes.

GENERAL CANCELLATION POLICY
10% down payment is non refundable - If you are unable to travel for any reason, the 10% will be applied to a trip at a later date. There is an 18 month window to use this credit from the time of cancellation.
46 days or more 90% Refund
20 – 45 days 50% Refund
1 – 19 days No Refunds

Note - Private Rentals and some hotels will require a larger down payment as per their policies.

No refunds are paid for any unused portions of the tour. Changes in plans by the travelers during the trip are subject of penalties or non-refundable amount of the services cancelled. No refunds will be made for occasional missed meals or sightseeing tours. After down payment has been received, if changes need to occur, a $30 fee may be charged for alteration of any changes made to dates, hotels, tours, ground or air transportation.

CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations received over 45 days prior to arrival will be subject to losing the 10% down-payment made on the trip. Airline tickets are non-refundable and changes are subject to penalty and/or service fees plus difference of the fare if applicable.

AIRPORT TAXES/CUSTOMS AND IMMIGRATION FEES: Departure tax within Costa Rica and Latin America and/or customs and immigration fees are not included in our rates and must be paid directly by the passenger.

PRICE INCLUDES: Price includes all items listed in the itinerary unless specifically stated otherwise. Includes all costs for planning, support, & operating the vacation.

PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE: Federal Inspection Fees for the Federal U.S. Customs and Immigration; International Air Transportation Tax; agricultural tax; any other taxes; security fee; airport taxes and fees; port taxes; passports; visas and vaccinations; tips to your tour or cruise director; tour host, tour driver, local city guides, ships’ crew; gratuities on ferries, trains and cruise ships; laundry; telephone; mini bar; alcohol, beverages and food not on the regular d’hote menu (these extra items will be billed you before leaving the hotel or restaurant); optional excursions; porterage at airports; travel protection; excess baggage fees; all other items of a personal nature.

VISAS AND PASSPORTS: All passengers must be in possession of a valid passport. You are responsible for obtaining and payment and payment for all visas and entry documents, and for meeting all health and other requirements and any documents required by laws, regulations, orders and/ or requirements of the countries to be visited. Multiple-entry visas are required for some vacations. Non-U.S. citizens must consult with appropriate consulates to determine if any visas are needed and are responsible for obtaining all visas and entry documents. All passengers traveling internationally are required to have a passport. Most countries require that the passport be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the conclusion of your trip. C.R. Referrals Travel will not be held liable for trip cancellations or alterations occurring from lack of appropriate travel documents and no refunds will be considered for such instances.

POSSIBLE CHANGES: We reserve the right to make reasonable changes and/or substitutions in the itinerary where deemed necessary for the benefit of all passengers.

TRAVELERS WHO NEED SPECIAL ASSISTANCE: You must report any disability requiring special attention to C.R. Referrals Travel at the time the reservation is made. C.R. Referrals Travel will make reasonable attempts to accommodate the special needs of disabled travelers, but is not responsible in the event it is unable to do so, nor is it responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotel, restaurants, or other independent suppliers. Be aware that outside the U.S. the Americans with Disabilities Act is not applicable and facilities for disabled individuals are limited. Most transportation services, including the touring motor coach, are not equipped with wheelchair ramps. We regret that we cannot provide individual assistance to a vacation participant for walking, dining, getting on and off motor coaches and other vehicles, or other personal needs. A qualified and physically able companion must accompany travelers who need such assistance and must assume full responsibility for their well being.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: We recommend that you purchase adequate and comprehensive travel accident insurance covering medical expenses, emergency assistance, baggage claims and trip cancellation or delay.

RESPONSIBILITY: C.R. Referrals Travel act only as agents for the various companies, owners or contractors providing the means of transportation, accommodations and other services. C.R. Referrals Travel does not own, manage, control, run or operate any transportation or recreational vehicle, motel, hotel, restaurant or any supplier of service. All exchanges orders, coupons and tickets are offered subject to a General Information under which such services are offered or provided. C.R. Referrals Travel assumes no liability in personal injury, illness or property damage or other loss or expense of any nature whatsoever arising directly out of any actions of any person or supplier of services providing any of the serviced, programs or accommodations offered in connection with a tour. C.R. Referrals Travel assumes no responsibility at all and no liability at all for any death, injury, illness, quarantine, sickness, diseases, natural disaster, damage, loss delay, accident, expense, defect or any other abnormality which may result from your participation in any activity during the tour. C.R. Referrals Travel can accept no responsibility for losses or accidental expenses due, as well, to delays or changes in schedules or departures, hotel over bookings or defaults, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantines, riots or insurrections or criminal acts committed by third parties, political disorders, of any type, or other such similar causes. All such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the passenger, who is again advised of the availability of travel accident insurance. The right is reserved to withdraw any tour announced in this program and to make such alterations to the itineraries as may be found desirable for the proper carrying out of the tours. In the event it becomes necessary or advisable in the Tour Operator discretion to alter the arrangements or itineraries for the passenger’s comfort or welfare for any reason whatsoever, such alterations may be made without penalty to the Operator. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the passenger. This program is issued on the sole responsibility of the Tour Operator.

Privacy Policy

C.R. Referrals Travel respects your privacy and uses your personal information only for legitimate travel-planning, reservation, communication, payment, and customer-service purposes.

When you contact us, request a quote, book travel, or use our website, we may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, travel dates, destination preferences, passport or identification details when required by suppliers, payment-related information, emergency contact details, dietary needs, mobility needs, medical or allergy information voluntarily provided by you, and other details necessary to plan and manage your trip.

By submitting information to C.R. Referrals Travel, you authorize us to use and share that information as reasonably necessary to provide travel services. This may include sharing relevant details with hotels, tour operators, transportation providers, rental car companies, guides, wedding or event vendors, payment processors, insurance providers, technology providers, and other third-party suppliers involved in your trip.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We only share the information needed for the specific service being arranged. Third-party suppliers may have their own privacy policies and data-handling practices, and C.R. Referrals Travel is not responsible for how independent suppliers process information once it has been provided to them for legitimate booking or service purposes.

We may also disclose personal information when required by law, court order, government authority, payment dispute, fraud prevention process, safety concern, insurance matter, or to protect the legal rights of C.R. Referrals Travel, our clients, suppliers, or others.

Some information may be stored or processed through email, cloud storage, booking systems, payment systems, website tools, analytics platforms, or other service providers located in Costa Rica or outside Costa Rica. By using our services, you consent to this processing and transfer where necessary for travel-planning, booking, communication, payment, record keeping, and business operations.

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no website, email system, payment system, or internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for travel services, client support, accounting, tax, legal, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention, and business-record purposes, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

By using our website, submitting a quote request, communicating with us, or making a payment, you acknowledge and agree to this Privacy Policy.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately, after they are posted on this page.

You may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion of information where legally appropriate. Some information may need to be retained when required for accounting, legal, contractual, supplier, insurance, or dispute-resolution reasons.
